Sex sells…so what else is new? Apparently it’s news in Grand Junction Colorado. After 37 years in Vegas, the SnowSports Industries America (SIA) moved their annual tradeshow to Denver, and it seems some small Colorado towns didn’t know what they were in for.

Three days after the show has packed up and left town, The Grand Junction Free Press reports “Sex sells snowboards in Denver.” The writer comments on people looking like they were “homesick for Sin City” and the Burton girls in fishnets who would be “very cold anywhere near snow.” Psst…it’s a cliche because it’s true – sex sells, anytime, anywhere, any industry.

Let’s hope the surf industry never tries to find new customers inland; who knows what kind of a ruckus would be caused by the Reef Girls.
